I'm a freelance cinematographer specialising in news, current affairs, lifestyle, documentary and corporate productions. I began on staff at Southern Cross News (now 7 Tasmania News) in 2012, filming and editing for the nightly news.
I worked at the Tasmanian Premier's office for Premier Will Hodgman between 2017 to 2019 as the official cinematographer, photographer, and social media advisor. This included the 2018 state election, where I implemented various new political online advertising strategies, including videos for the first time in a Tasmanian election, possibly Australian.
I then became a Freelance Cinematographer and Editor. I have worked for 9 News, 7 News, 10 News, SBS NITV, HYPE and MWC Productions, plus various other production companies and newsrooms. I have filmed across Australia and Singapore, and Vietnam.
I own my equipment, including a Sony FX9, Sony FS7, Sony A7Siii, GoPro, Mavic Pro Drone, various zoom and prime lenses, lights and audio gear, DJI Ronin and a TVU Pack.
