Kieran Fowler NZCS ACS

Biography

KIERAN FOWLER is an international award winning cinematographer of drama, commercial and music video works.

Born and raised around the beautiful mountain landscape of New Zealand’s South Island, Kieran developed his eye for photography from a young age. Since discovering the wonders of his father’s digital 8 camera, Kieran has carried his adventurous attitude into his craft.

Based in Australia, Kieran has also worked extensively Internationally as a cinematographer and has photographed five feature films. He was awarded a Silver ACS award for his work on feature film ‘Duong Dua’, in 2014 and more recently recognised with a Bronze NZCS award among five other awards in 2016 for his work on the film ‘Terminus’. In 2017 Kieran was accredited by the New Zealand and Australian Cinematographers Societies, which allows him to use the letters NZCS ACS after his name.
